DOMINICAN OPEN FOR STUDENTS
Travellers heading away for a gap year in Dominican Republic resorts have been told by the Ministry of Tourism that the country is open for business. The Ministry are trying to attract young English people by offering a prize-draw for Cheltenham Hospitality Tickets.
In a tourism update, the department stressed that the situation is normal at present, so there should be no obstacles to beginning a gap year in Dominican Republic communities.

Especially this holiday season, the country’s busiest travel period, officials are trying to down play the cholera cases and highlight the D.R. as a top tourist destination in the Caribbean.
